Prompt fundamentals

A prompt is your input or instruction to Rovo to get specific results. Rovo includes conversation starters (starter prompts) to help you get going. But soon, you will want to write your own prompts. The quality of Rovo’s responses depends heavily on how clear and specific your prompts are.

How to write good prompts

  • Be specific and clear about the task or information you want.
  • Provide context, such as the audience, purpose, or any relevant background.
  • Use a logical structure and break down complex tasks into smaller steps if needed.
  • Include details like format, length, or style if you have preferences.
  • Iterate and refine your prompts based on Rovo’s responses.
  • Use follow-up prompts to clarify or adjust results as needed.
