Atlassian Team is the flagship annual event for Atlassian customers and leading event for teamwork innovation. This year, nearly 5,000 customers, partners, and Atlassians from more than 65 countries came together in person—while the founder’s keynote drew more than 1.7 million streamed views worldwide. It was a powerful celebration of the future of work, fueled by connection, collaboration, and cutting-edge tools. Here are the highlights:

Introducing Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection

Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection is a curated selection of apps—Jira, Confluence, and Loom—and powerful Rovo agents, that will reimagine the way teams collaborate. Individually, each app and agent contributes significant value, but together they form the common language of teamwork across the entire organization—helping teams bring the System of Work to life. Learn how your team can get started with the Teamwork Collection.

Loom is now the fastest-growing product at Atlassian

In a world where teams are bogged down by endless meetings and never-ending email threads, Loom is helping them break free. As the fastest-growing product at Atlassian, Loom is redefining how teams communicate—offering a faster, more human way to share updates, explain ideas, and give feedback. With new AI-powered meeting insights functionality plus over 200 million meetings replaced by video messages last year, Loom is delivering on the exciting promise of a world of fewer, better meetings.

Spotlight on Loom in the opening keynote

Loom AI for meetings

Loom now records and summarizes live meetings, allowing you to focus on the conversation or even skip the meeting entirely. By connecting your calendar with Zoom, Teams, and Google meetings, Loom transcribes meeting notes and action items directly into Confluence. This significantly reduces the time spent on manual note-taking and ensures that all team members, regardless of time zone, stay informed and aligned.

Transform video into Confluence pages

Record a casual Loom walkthrough of a process, and Loom AI can turn it into a polished step-by-step guide on Confluence — complete with embedded screenshots pulled automatically from your video. This integration bridges the gap between video content and documentation, enhancing knowledge sharing across the organization.

Building the foundations for modern teamwork in the AI era

Matt De Vincentis, Head of Product Marketing, Teamwork Foundation and System of Work, and Alison Huselid, Head of Product, System of Work Transformation took the stage to unveil how Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection empowers organizations to build the foundations for modern teamwork in the AI era. They broke down how these tools, all connected by the Teamwork Graph, help teams work smarter, automate the boring stuff, and actually collaborate (not just talk about it). Watch the super session highlights.

Tap into the power of Loom and AI for seamless workflows

At Atlassian Team ’25, Brittany, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Loom, took the stage to showcase how AI is unlocking a new era of seamless, async collaboration. Brittany walked through the power of Loom + AI to streamline workflows and eliminate unnecessary meetings. Whether you’re recording a quick demo, flagging a bug, or sharing a product update, Loom helps you do it faster—with more clarity and human connection.

New features like AI-generated meeting summaries, Jira ticket creation from video, and coming soon, text-to-video avatars, are transforming how teams work across Atlassian tools. From engineering and support to sales and leadership, Loom is powering better communication without the chaos of endless meetings. As Brittany put it: “Record once, and let Loom do the rest”.

Atlassian “Confessional”: Experience Loom live

At Team ’25, our research team hosted an interactive “Loom Room” experience where attendees got hands-on with Loom, many for the very first time. Participants recorded their own videos, explored AI features, and shared real-time feedback on what stood out. The confessionals included a lot of Loom love. Some of our favorites:

  • Highlighted how effective Loom is for asynchronous meetings
  • Shared excitement about the automatic title and summary generation, expressing the possibility of daily use
  • Appreciated seeing Loom in action and immediately recognized its value for planning
  • Called out Loom’s innovative AI-driven video shortening and ease of use

Across the board, customers left energized by Loom’s potential—and inspired to bring it into their day-to-day collaboration.

This is Loom’s second year participating in Team, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many incredible customers and partners. We’re just getting started—and we can’t wait to continue sharing what’s next as we build the future of better collaboration together.
